ABBA - Voyage

Is it possible to see a seating plan anywhere without going through that again? I totally just panicked, scrolled down and clicked at random out of fear of missing out.

To be honest, considering the nature of the show I don't mind being a bit of a way back to get an overall view.

And it's not like there's much thrill to be had in trying to make eye contact, is it? :D

This is a VERY GOOD POINT :D

I wish they'd make searching for accessible tickets easier. I've half a mind to take my Mum, but seemingly you literally have to search every event and there's probably only 20 tickets or something STUPID per showing.

I was just thinking of my mother and her hip. Think I have to hold off.

Right, when to I start to panic that I haven't had an email confirmation from ticketmaster yet?

Well I'm thinking it's a free trip for me as an essential companion and an easy Christmas present for her.

I do hope the venue will be permanently known as ABBA Arena

multiple failures at point of payment, then chucks you out and back to the start of the queue again

How much are the tickets then? It said they started at £21 but they went no further than that.

I paid £107. They continue up from there, but I wasn't interested in the variously named 'dance booths' or demand driven platinum tickets. Like I said, I did feel a bit panicky and had a price of £100 in my head, so plumped for them.

If he wants to repeat the experience at a higher price, it's up to him!

The checkout didn't fail once for me, so clearly I'm feeling VERY fortunate.

Oh and getting accessible tickets was actually super easy. The filter doesn't work but clicking on the area did- have slap bang in the centre for the two of us for £40 in September.

BEING A CRIP IS WELL A SCAM :D

:D

But this does please me greatly!

I've been trying to persuade her to take advantage and let me take her to shows and things but she has NIL INTEREST.

I'm hoping Abba will tip the scales, but we'll see.

My mum doesn't actually use a wheelchair yet (although it would make life easier frequently if she did), so I'm tempted to just bung her in one and have a go myself.

Or even fuck that, I'll get in it myself if she won't.

I think you need some sort of letter or something to prove.

It reminds me of one of my favourite gig moments ever. I still laugh when I think back to the Kylie tour I went to and there were 4 gays in the disabled section, 3 so off their face on pills that they were actually dancing HARD to the Pepsi adverts that preceded the gig whilst one sat there in a chair looking thoroughly miserable with his leg in a cast :D

Divide up over a 40 year period and it's less than £1.05 per month.
And at least I didn't go for the t shirts or hoodies, right? I did dither over the mug, but I'm not paying fifteen quid for that.

Yes, same here - I'm going to try one more time today.
Same, I tried 4 times then gave up and I'll try again for the general sale. If it's running for years, multiple times a week, I'd rather get some decent seats a bit later so fingers crossed

There's a second pre-sale tomorrow before general sale on Tuesday. Might be worth trying again then if you're over it now...

Oooh, no. £15 for a mug is a bit on the nose.

There's always the merch stall on the night... :disco:

So grateful I clearly lucked out, unless somehow my code was preferential because of the amount I'd pre-ordered :D

There's still a few opening night tickets left...I'm SURPRISED

Would that work with the same code, do you know? Anything during the week will be tricky for me as I'll be in work, but I could give ZG the code (not that he'd be coming with me, the philistine )

I don't see why not - I imagine the same code would work until general sale.

I’ll get tickets for this at some point in the future when it calms down, its clearly going to be here for a WHILE (if not semi-permenantly) and I’m in no rush to see it immediately.

I wonder how many haven’t really bothered to read up on what it is and are expecting the ACTUAL ABBA to show up :D

Is the illustrious Mama Mia LIVE TAVERNA EXPERIENCE :disco: still a thing? Did fans even bother with that, or was it strictly for drunk Mums and hen parties? I may waste 10 minutes sitting through the negative Trip Advisor reviews now :disco:

I think it's either just reopened or about to.

I haven't bothered myself. I don't even like Greek food THAT much :D
