Can Americans even do coffee properly? Or FOOD and DRINK in general?

I think that like most things, America has really good coffee/tea/food, but what the majority drink and eat isn’t the best

Question: if one is making tea, using an electric tea kettle, would you ever put the milk directly into the kettle? My friend just did and I thought it was odd but he said that it was normal. I’ve never seen anyone do it before
I feel like that would make your kitchen STINK

They really need to nuke America. Don't worry we'll get you out first.

Electric kettles aren't really a THING in America, are they?
I think they’re more common than they used to be. My parents got one when I was maybe 10? But we called it the “water boiler”. I don’t have one in my apartment, but I also don’t really like tea

I mostly drink ice tea so I use the electric kettle to preheat the water when am cooking pasta, or anything that needs almost boiling hot water to be cooked in, it's really time-saving.

Aw look at little RJN getting defensive

What do most American toasters look like? Are they normal or are they those awful horizontal things?
