UK: The Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson years - problematic + infected + broke the law + electoral poison + sneks + not very good + OVER (funny)

I feel like we’ve been here before several times in the past few months and it’s amounted to fuck all.

The journalist on LBC mentioned that this is around the same numbers publicly announced that were public when Theresa May got enough letters against her.

I really don't want him to go at this stage, he's not going to win the next election. Someone else might.

But i'm perfectly happy with him teetering on the edge with 50 publicly unhappy MPs. That'll make it even more difficult come next election if he's still PM.

I’d rather it occurred after the two by-elections on 23 June.
I think I prefer before, electorally speaking. He'll probably survive the confidence vote this side of the by-elections, and then go into the next general especially damaged.

Feels very hopeful to think the next general election is going to be within two years! They're probably stretching this one out to late 2024, maybe even early 2025 if they can.

Yes, I think the requirement for it be by May 2024 died with the fixed term mechanism? They may well go right to the end at this rate - that majority will continue to whittle but is large enough to see them through (unless a load of them suddenly quit the whip…)

January 2025 sounds like it's the last possible date, but I can't see it being that late. Tories are typically scared of winter snows keeping their electorate from voting.

Not that it worked in December 2019, mind.

If they absolutely know that they're going to lose, they'll drag it out to the last minute in the hope that Labour accidentally elect the corpse of Jimmy Savile as their new leader or something.

Finally something to get the Telegraph readers on side.

Other way around! Tories know bad weather is more likely to put off Labour voters than Tory ones (all their oldies who'd be put off are signed up to postal votes)

Speaking of Farage I was scrolling YouTube the other day and one of his videos came up (my algorithm is a very naughty boy) called THE WAR ON THE JUBILEE. What messy nonsense is that? Every loves it, it's a four day weekend. Stop talking shite Nigel and JUST DIE.

Yeah, I don’t fucking love it at all.

Not least cause it provokes this sort of shite from Gammon faced cunts like Farage.

Johnson's utter failure as a Prime Minister - and the destruction of his carefully engineered brand - gives me such glee. This job was his life's goal and it's been an absolute catastrophe :D

I hope it haunts him to the end of his days.

Can we have this post added to the banner, please?

Unfortunately it won't because he doesn't see it as a catastrophe
