Why is it taking Arizona so long to count their votes? Did they see that Trump was going to win and decide just to get drunk instead? I have a lot of sympathy for that, but you have a job to do, girls.

I don't need to re-read the thread, I know what I fucking said.

Called sexist, misogynistic, racist and now homophobic, all in a few hours, on THIS forum. I mean I don't even know where to start with that. This is the first time in over 8 years it feels genuinely unsettling to be here.

Switching to the victim immediately after being called out says much more than I could.

I would pull you up for swearing at me, but I can play that game too cunt, so just fuck off.

No body shaming or judgement etc even if one is a racist rapist
But

He’s clearly on the weight loss drugs

I want to preempt this (I feel I have to do this a lot in this thread) by saying I am NOT a Trump fan at all.

But Trump is extremely likable to a lot of everyday people. He's funny on stage, always speaks his mind (rightly or wrongly), reads the room well, has catchphrases, is extremely patriotic.

All things Americans lap up. Whatever you think of him, standing up after nearly having his head blown off and shouting "fight" was brave and courageous. Wearing the high-viz in a dumptruck after his supporters were called garbage was hilarious. At both ends of the scale, he delivered exactly what people wanted. He plays the game so well.

I understand why so many people find him unlikable but I also understand, and some here seem to not, why he IS.

Except in EVERY poll she outdid him for approval ratings. So she can’t be less likeable than him.

If this is true, 'unlikable disaster candidate' Harris actually saved the Democrats from a catastrophic wipeout the likes of which hasn't been seen in generations.

What's going on in Colorado to make it so much less evil than everywhere around it?

From what I’ve read, they just have a very effective Democratic local government that does good things for the state and makes sure people know about it, rather than being drawn into culture wars. Groundbreaking!

Colorado is often quite different from other states

As a child of the South Park generation, I'm primed to think of Colorado as the epicentre of hicksville, so it's quite funny to discover it's an outlier state of über-lefty Strava addicts.

Trump has finally won Arizona. Save for any faithless electors, Trump wins 312 to 226.

I believe she have worked briefly at McDonald's. But if that's true, wouldn't it be fairly easy to find at least one colleague who could confirm it?
I worked in a Virgin Megastore from 1999 to 2002. I could not tell you the contact details of a single one of my colleagues from then away from a few first names, let alone someone from McDonalds 15+ years earlier for a job that probably didn’t last for 3 years.

You're also not a celebrity running for the most high-profile job in the world. I'm quite sure most people having worked with Kamala or Trump has name-dropped them to friends on more than one occasion.

If she actually worked there for more than a few shifts and was a reasonably competent colleague she would've had dozens upon dozens of coworkers. It shouldn't have been difficult to find ONE willing to vouch for it.

But she wasn't a celebrity at the time. If one of the people I worked alongside at a call centre when I was in university became a public figure today I doubt I'd put two and two together because I don't remember any of them!

I Christmas temped with the Royal Mail for a month in 1990 (so presumably a similar time?) and don't remember a name, a face or ever even talking to anyone.

I'd be amazed if anyone remembered me, or if there was any record of it ever happening.

So if the ex colleague was MAGA they would obviously NOT admit to this. If the colleague was any way liberal they'd have the right wing media delving into every aspect of their life so I doubt they'd want anything to do with it. It's such a WEIRD thing to get het up about.

I worked at John Lewis over the weekends for two years while I studied my A-Levels. I couldn't name one person I worked with either and I was friendly with quite a lot of them

Yes, they'd also need to prove they worked for McDonald's in 1983 but McDonald's doesn't have records and so it would go on and on...

Bully for you!
Come on, let’s not go for @HalamaK now.

I doubt I could remember many of the people I worked with as a teenager. At the same time, the Harris campaign should have anticipated that Trump might seize on a claim she couldn’t fully support. I’m not saying it’s fair, but it’s the reality.

Didn't you also used to work at Wimbledon as a ball boy?

They all lose to President Vance and possibly President GABBARD thereafter.
