I wish they'd bring back the evil judges from season one.

I always want to like Canada but it's just a bit bland.
 
I thought episode one was very strangely produced. Why did they all walk into an empty room and then awkwardly pile in and pretend to be seeing each other for the first time?

Also the lack of seeing any preparation for any aspect of the challenge was bewildering.

Some of the comments from the judges and contestants alike made me wonder whether Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman (WHERE NOW?) was just unfortunate and Canadians are generally just a really mean and spiteful bunch. :D

Jaylene Tyme was my standout, she seems to bring something we potentially haven't quite seen before, which is a rarity this late into the show's lifespan.
 
I mean the Mother/Drag Daughter OMG YOU'RE HERE??? Yeah girl you just saw her behind the stage waiting to walk back in as a group :D
 
Happy for Perla. There’s just no way that bottom three placing from episode one was justified. The group’s sketch was somewhat funny, unlike the other two.
 
I’m not really feeling this season so far, it’s a bunch of competent but not great or exciting queens. I hope it maybe picks up steam as the season goes on but this might be the first non essential Canada season.
 
I really dislike Uma's mug. Sometimes it irritates me when a judge (it's usually Michelle's thing, isn't it) tells a queen to mix it up, but I need someone else to tell her to do it. And yes, that was such an awful plea for the beaver.

I can't remember if Irma Gerd was a better queen than Uma Gahd, but it's definitely a better take on the name.
 
I try to look past a signature makeup look but Uma really has one of the all time worst. It’s distracting and all I focus one when she’s on stage.

There's one thing having a kooky signature makeup look (i.e. I don't like Danny Beard's make up but can appreciate that it's well done and effective) however what the fuck is this shit?

Irma justified her survival this week IMO. I was surprised she was just safe, hers was by far the funniest verse.

Sad to see Jaylene leave so early, but she did seem to be flagging somewhat. Maybe the rate of production just got too much for her.
 
Only just up to speed that this isn't going on iplayer. I'm quite chuffed to have all of Down Under and a few of Can to binge through now. Waiting for one a week is just not for me anymore.

OMG I'm watching the latest episode now and it took me about 25 minutes to get through 3 minutes of the Reading Challenge because I kept having to pause after every cringe inducing anti-joke.

What is wrong with them?!
 
They've saturated the pool of TV worthy drag queens in Canada. I thought the same had happened with the UK after season 2 but this last UK one was alright.
 
That was a tough watch. And excluding Global and Versus The World seasons, the worst I can remember for quite some time.
 
How many regular seasons have had shit snatch games? I can count a few.
I’d still argue that this season is better than any Down Under season. FIGHT ME!
 
The constant vocal fry is really getting on my TITS this season.

Mikayla was a mess in that lipsync and was lucky that Uma was there too.
 
This episode was HARD to make it through

I’m kinda over Snatch Game at this point
 
Well I'd never have guessed at the start of the season that I'd be at this stage championing a Minho Wang win, but here we are.
