not sure if that track was recorded before or after Ricky's death but the fact that Cindy is doing lead vocals and singing the line 'this girl's lost someone' makes me suspect it was after his death, which makes it a very bittersweet song but the B52's have never been ones for out n' out...

ooh, a '52's thread. Girl from Ipanema is a spectacular song (and also quite poignant), definitely one of my favourites. Loved their last album, especially Love in the Year 3000 and Juliet of the Spirits. Also love this (Manhattan Clique) remix of their ahem, classic 'Cake'.

Ooooh, I love The Cardigans. Yep it's a great album, though my favourite is 'Life'. Have their 'Best of' on a loop these days on my WMP.
