BASICALLY my godmother is getting married in two weeks, and she bought her dress in Monsoon a few weeks ag. Unfortunately when she got it home, she realised there was a stain on it, so she took it back to the store and asked if they had a replacement, which they didn't because it was the end of the season. They recommended ringing Head Office and they had phoned around all the Monsoon stores and no one had one. My godmother loved the dress though so she didn't want to exchange it, so Monsoon suggested getting it dry cleaned to see if that helped, and if not then they needed to go back to the shop to get a refund. The dry cleaning didn't work, and so we took it back today to a different branch where the shop assistant said that she thought an exchange would be fine for the same dress in a different size, but she had to double check with the manager. She then came back and said that the manager - who goes by the name of Glenn - wouldn't do an exchange because the dress was not in its original condition, i.e.because it had ben dry cleaned. He refused to come and talk to us when we asked him to, and instead passed messags though this poor girl who kept having to run around the shop. Obviously it's a wee bit annoying that we not have two identical dresses and they won't take one back...
