my list is more provisional than ever and still in a bit of flux but oh well here are the first few of it + youtube and spotify playlist lists for the full 100.
01 il regno animale - andrea laszlo de simone
02 dis-moi que tu m-aimes (modular version) zaho de sagazan
03 i can't get my hear...
i'm struggling with this one, probably the one of hers since emotion i've listened to the least.
shame shy boy didn't do much, it was a big grower for me.
ps did we ever figure out what this was (sorry if it's obvious):
this is one of my favourite things this year:
it blows me away, what a performance. anyway, the whole debut album by this lovely frenchie is worth hearing. tristesse is an angstier counterpoint:
two cents from me:
padam padam - it felt novelty from the get go and it wore quickly, but to its benefit it sounds like it was always there and it did its job. my biggest issue are the lyrics - i can take champagne temperature updates but lines like "wanna see what's underneath that t-shirt"...
this is also back and i saw the first three episodes and if they'd reeled it in a smidge i'd have said it's my favourite social commentary comedy series
as is it's really good i'm just very critical blah blah
i only wish the songs were less but longer - i'd chop a good third of them but lets talk faves instead
01 i wish you roses and roses and roses and rose *.*
02 deserve me - every now and then i live for a bit of this type of plinky marimba cha cha slumber party r&b
03 endlessly - reminds me of...
like this don't love this wish i did... fun! but overcooked!
makes me think of kylie's disco - especially my favourite these two lips though not 100% sold on the chorus lyrics dunno something's a-klunk there but yes it's wonderfully donna summer-esque
the videos have been mostly terrible since...
been following her for a bit - boxes and liquid love were my favourites (i mean just the ending of boxes is enough to goosebump me bad)
runaway new favourite from the new album is this
the whole album is very strong this is how we move or the title track i mean could you imagine such a thing
