And we are now halfway through the 90s' UK Number Two Survivor games! Time to decide which of these No. 2 charting acts deserved to be on top of the charts!

We begin this edition with 23 songs in the competition. Same as usual, round-by-round, they will be whittled dwon until there are only two left for the Final where a winner will be chosen.

This time, we are going to start with a vote to EVICT. In this round, you may vote for UP TO 11 SONGS you least wish to remain in the competiton. Cast your votes now!

What an absolute shower!

Apart from the obvious exceptions of course

I can't bring myself to vote as the list was too grim to take in. I'll trust moopy to do the right thing and join in a couple of rounds.

I took it on the chin for you, I actually took some pleasure in dumping Boyzone and Pulp in multiple takes

Apologies to the lesbians and the straights, respectively.

Sorry Mopsy

But even if it's all very testosterone, take Boyzone out and this is actually a pretty strong list!

Dame Kelly has this in the bag obviously, but I'd be on board with a non-bellowing pre-Mungbean Annie win

I will be voting for history's greatest monster Mike Flower Pops, and U2. Insanely strong list (and one of the biggest treats over the last 18 months watching it all back on TOTP)

Yeah, I agree that this is a strong line-up. Even the Eurodance stuff that normally isn't my shtick actually really is this year - had to Spotify Alex Party and the Original and damn, distant childhood nostalgia coming back to me real hard!

I will boot both Boyzones and save the Beatles out of principle, even though those are probably the two most tolerable Boyzone hits (along with 'Picture of You') and that 'Beatles' 'song' just doesn't need to exist. :/ Dems da breaks.

Mike Flowers Pops blows my mind in all the wrong ways, and that Queen song is inane dreck even by their piss-poor standards. Will also vote N-Trance for having the audacity to update 'Stayin' Alive' even though it kinda works because they borrow all the iconic bits from the original.

That's all I got.

I'm also not ashamed in the least to say I quite enjoy the Mike Flowers Pop version, if nothing else because I always imagine sour-faced Liam being furious at this (at the time) matching their chart success.

Frankly someone should pull this shit with Espresso
