Before proceedings kick off in due course here's a bonus track for Japan only



I keep going round and round on the same old circuit.
A wire travels underground to a vacant lot.
Where something I can't see interrupts the current.
And shrinks the picture down to a tiny dot.
And from behind the screen, it can look so perfect.
But it's not.

So here I'm sitting in my car at the same old stop light.
I keep waiting for a change, but I don't know what.
So red turns into green, turning into yellow.
But I'm just frozen here on the same old spot.
And all I have to do is press the pedal.
But I'm not. No I'm not.

I saw her one time only live in Dublin in 2017 and I’m not an outwardly emotional person but I felt like I could burst into tears at any moment. Absorbing.
 
I’ve seen her three times and she needs to come back to Europe to save us all

I tell this story all the time but I met her after her Paris gig for Forgotten Arm - she signed my CD and took a picture with me. Has a little conversation too. She was wonderful

Lovely. We couldn’t hang around because I had ,on a whim, got tickets on the day (a Saturday) because Dublin is 3 hours away and I was working at 7am on the Sunday so had to hotfoot it to catch a bus which I missed and ended up home at 4.30am but a great memory. But, yes, I need her back without work lurking in the background.
 
If she never comes back to Europe I may just have to go and see her at Largo

Queens of the Summer Hotel is very underrated in the Aimee fan community

And yes I’m looking at you @jivafox
