“Hear Them Calling” is one of the most puzzling DNQs in recent memory for me, but maybe placing an each way bet on it at one point was a bit of a stretch..

None of these, not even Ari, are actively bad for me, but I’d say Greta was involved in the best two and my third vote is for Hatari

Agreed. It's up there with Telemoveis as the rare example of a totally conceived package failing to qualify, and I could at least *understand* why Telemoveis might not have translated. With Hear Them Calling I just don't get what the missing link was at all.

Anyway that said I went for Paper over Hear Them Calling for my third after Hera and Hatari :P Astoundingly hard call for me between the two, but I've gone for Paper which is slightly less generic and STILL utterly blinding as a track (not to mention Svala's faint air of Dinah Nah on witness protection :disco:)

I’m delighted to see that ‘Paper’ is currently in BRONZE POSITION. Let’s all remind ourselves of that wonderful semi performance and why she might not necessarily have connected with the general public :side-eye:

STATE! :disco:

Are PLATFORMS compulsory in Iceland? Lest we forget, and I certainly never shall... :disco:

Absolutely one of the worst performances of recent memory for me, in terms of ruining the chances of a song that should have sailed through. Quite disgusting.

Says she who voted for Sjonni's Friends :side-eye:

RUDE!

I mean it’s not bad but I find it a bit too sparse. I should be into it but it just doesn’t happen:

I fell for the Sjonni message because he DIED. Also that was a year I went so it sticks in more.

I’m surprised I’m the only one considering there’s always some love here for any old tub with a beard
