As Kate says, when this was last discussed getting agreement was a pain because people wanted different ones or had different opinions on their appropriateness.

So I'm afraid you'll just need to aggressively quote eyes people instead. I'm sure you are more than capable of that.

While I personally deplore Voodoo’s shit they’re barely more antagonising than anyone else here that I might agree with.

If I’m being a fair mod then they deserve bans/mutes if they overstep the line just like anyone else and if they continue after that they deserve a ban.

Just banning people we disagree with isnt the way forward but if anyone continues to be a cunt after warnings then they can fuck the fuck off.

Yes, this. I don't have much more to add than this. I'm not a fan of Voodoo's opinions, but there is a line between vehemently disagreeing with their opinions and actually breaking rules.

If there are any specific posts which break community rules (and "liking" a post falls a bit short) then feel free to report them as they arise. Then the whole moderating team will consider them (not just one admin, or even admins alone).

The modmin team aren't, despite appearances, the only game in town though. We follow the opinion of all and enforce. If everyone wanted someone gone because they're disruptive to the community then that's something that could be considered, but I'm not (yet) seeing that.

BBC showing families of Israeli hostages, but no personalization from Palestine families, just a vague thousands of dead mentioned that almost implies it's both equally Israeli and Palestine deaths. Absolutely disgusting reporting.

You may have noticed Instagram has been a right arsehole the past few weeks for embedding. They changed the way sharing works and the new links weren't being processed properly.
