Rather than have this drag on (with our not actually awol host having been online multiple times), there would be no shame in asking someone to have taken over. It's happened 3 times before. This is #4. Life happens, we all know and do genuinely care (which is why the last few times this has happened I've always stressed that we don't require any explanation of personal circumstances, but that we do require the courtesy of saying someone is now needed to take over, which takes 10 seconds to post and all participants can simply send their shit over to BT whomever is now doing it). Going forward, any KalaVision should be a co-host affair with the other person being quite ready to take over the reigns.
 
Going forward they really, really need to not bother. It’s clearly not in their destiny.
 
I really want the results as I could potentially win this one finally.

It's my song I feel sorry for. Entered into the long lost Kalavision of '23, re-entered into Kalavision '24, a fleeting moment in the sun, now it's waiting around in the green room still. Even poor old VASIL wasn't dragged along this long for his inevitable flop. :(

This is the second time my song’s been sent as well. I really want to know how it does else I'll never know closure or peace.
 
I hope all is ok with the host which is the most important thing and no pressure on them to forge ahead with this….but I did listen to all the songs and took the time to vote so might just post my scores in here anyway #soon.
 
I personally don't mind waiting for whenever Kala is ready, life sometimes takes you a little off schedule, but I don't mind if we all post our scores and then figure out the results on our excels either 🤗.
Or maybe we can move to the next asfm to keep us busy while Kala sorts things out.
 
I’m pretty sure mine flopped so I would love it if the results never happened. Also my 12 is very problématique. :ToneNervous:

The video edit was slightly different, but I had faith the spotify contingent wouldn't even bother with the dated concept of a visual peice.

Well he’s blocked people from seeing his last online time, so there’s really no way of knowing the answer to that bit.
 
He was having some personal issues before he stopped posting. He's disappeared in the middle of hosting before so there's no way of knowing. He'll post when he's ready.
 
We all hope Kala is okay. I looked on his last social post that is dated from about a month ago (Eurovision-related of course) and he had a huge Kala smile on his face so here's hoping the break is doing him the world of good. I'm assuming he is lurking and just not ready.
 
He's still on my FB, but has limited what I can see. I'm limited to profile pictures only, which tells me he knows I pay attention.

Sorry to be that person, but the excuses every time are always... just so big. Sure we all have drama in our lives, but most of us who have been here so long at least have the decency to inform someone, especially in the middle of running an event that people put time and energy into.

The fact he's hidden his last online time, tells me he's lurking and for the fourth time he's just lost interest. I have no proof either way if all the excuses are true or not, but the timings are always spectacular.

Sorry he has done this THREE!!!! Times? :D Totally missed that and don’t think I have been part of any of them? I didn’t think I had been absent from ASFM for that long.

A small bit of advice though going forward if he goes for a fourth BOYCOTT IT and don’t waste your time.
 
I’m still alive. I apologise for any upset but I’ve been going through some personal issues. I’m currently undergoing tests regarding abnormalities in my oesophagus, they’re not sure what it is. I’ve had various scans and I’m just awaiting some results of a biopsy taken. It’s been a bit of a shock hence my sudden departure as I’ve been struggling to deal with it all.
