Unexpectedly, I had Mr jyxz at home this evening after his flight was cancelled by easyJet, so I wasn’t as present as I planned to be.

Fun fact: The votes were almost all revealed in the order I received them (this has been a FUN contest to collect votes for). Originally, the only one I swapped around was @funky, as without his votes the scores were EXACTLY EVEN and since he'd awarded Pakistan and France his top marks, it made for a perfect final reveal.

Then, earlier in this thread, this happened:

Well at least I came top 20, but I really don't understand some of those high placings. Well done to Kratz for having nice arms and well done to Iguana for one of the best songs this contest has ever had. Well done to Kala for the banger of all bangers (the Albanian Jackie Brambles is quite the icon). Well done to BT for not scoring me at all. And to Rita for the comment I now no longer think is a compliment. God I love ASFM.

Your song seemed to pick up a lot of points but still linger mid-table. If you look at the scores around that part of the leaderboard it would only have taken one or two high marks to break out and head towards the top ten. The voting was so spread out tonight.

This one felt like a frontrunner when I received it. It had all of the hallmarks of a Moopy success; a beat, the French language, high camp undressing...

Pakistan was a very obvious winner, too. I also firmly believed Ghana would crush everyone and I was planning ways to hobble my vote because I was worried I'd win my own contest :D
 
I think that’s my best result that isn’t either a rock song or stolen from @Kate and doesn’t really count.
