I was 22 then, with no clue about life. now I'm 29, with no clue about life.
love that this whole thing is merely an opportunity for jiva's INTERIOR EMO to be let out on day release“Flicking lighters just to fight the dark” what a LINE!
Is the guy on Push her hot guitar friend from the Complicated era?

HOW was Push not a single? In a dream world, they released What The Hell, then Wish You Were Here (THE BEST AVRIL LAVIGNE SONG!) when that flopped, album, and Push as third single. Smile is good but this is so much better - what a towering chorus. slightly more mature too while still shouty and angsty - the perfect song for her at that moment. that was a very mishandled album campaign.![]()
I mean I wouldn't NOW but you can see why 12 year olds in 2003 would have been ALL ABOUT IT.
STOP STANDING THERE. Forgot to request this one too @the jiva witnesses . It's a bit 'lighter' than the heavy hitters of Goodbye Lullaby but it's lovely.
Fully agree. I actually think, as much as I love it, What the Hell doesn't fit at all, they just wanted to push it with another 'Girlfriend'I think it found a nice balance between the 'mature and personal' album and the 'oh shit we need a hit' songs which wasn't necessarily achieved elsewhere...
What the Hell SCREAMS "label heard the album, panicked and called Max Martin". bop though.Fully agree. I actually think, as much as I love it, What the Hell doesn't fit at all, they just wanted to push it with another 'Girlfriend'
