I haven’t bothered with this as I assume it’s all the boring childhood, growing up, early years stuff so intend to come in on volume 2 which I hope has the stuff I’m interested in.
Pretty much, the first 1/4 is more of an memoir of her mother and the book ends around 1982 teasing Hollywood career Cher to come.I haven’t bothered with this as I assume it’s all the boring childhood, growing up, early years stuff so intend to come in on volume 2 which I hope has the stuff I’m interested in.
She mentions the drag queens but only raves about how fantastic they were and well received by the audience.Anything on Ms. Ross and Bette Midler falling out with her after having drag queens impersonate them for her Vegas show? I'll have to try and listen to some chapters... it's not like the 70s were boring for her, but I just don't think she can be arsed to get into much detail beyond what suits her.
