Does this documentary seriously not have a thread?

It's about the gay porn store and its role in LGBT rights.

Alaska is in it because she used to work there.

And I just realized that I've been in it twice without realizing how iconic it is.

I watched this recently, it was quite the eye opener! I loved the husband, he came across as the most easy-going person in the world :D

Also, Jeff Stryker is still looking HOT.

Yeah agree with both comments above - I wanted to know about the bookshop, but they kept focusing on the poor brave son who battled against the odds to come out as
gay
:square:

Every time it got interesting it just circled back on the family, who weren’t particularly interesting TBH.

I actually went to Circus Of Books last time I was in LA, not realising it’s heritage. I bought a load of vintage porn and weird gay zines with pervy stories in - god only knows where they are now! :D

It did feel a bit unfinished. The store closed at 6pm, and then they packed away the DVDs (I dread to think how long that must have taken). Then there was a long moment of black screen, and then the credits.

It would have been nice to know what they've been up to since the store closed. How they've transitioned back to a regular life. What happened to all that porn!

Also, whenever there was flashback that featured the director as a teenager, it was like looking right at iconic X Factor auditionee Rachel Lester.
