Revisiting this classic today from the sorely underrated Linda Ronstadt today.

I know it's a cover, but the lyrics, gender-flipped as they are, are refreshingly forward, and what a FABULOUS harpsichord solo.

I like the Matthew Sweet Susanna Hoffs version best I think.

Discovering that when it autoplayed on Spotify today was actual the inspiration for this thread. It's a great cover.

Far from my favourite song of the 60s but glorious regardless.

God, I could happily do a YOUR TOP 20 of the 60s topic, although some poor queens just don't have the range.

Start it! I don’t know that much 60s but I could do a top 20

Love this, though the Susanna & Sweet version is my favourite too (certainly my most played). She just sounds so good on it.

Currently watching the Linda documentary on the BBC. Good so far, very starry line-up of talking heads.

I’ve listened to the Lemonheads cover of this every day since this thread
