Dua Lipa - Physical (1 Viewer)

I hope this pans out for her cos it would be a shame of Physical got lost. Spotify and playlists have given songs a longevity they haven't had for decades - it wasn't until the mid 90's that the labels started actively throttling singles to sell albums to people instead (well, doing it so obviously anyway).
 
Might do but I'm reluctant to spend too much if I'm going to have to cough up again for a deluxe edition.

It must be envy on Ora's part. Ora must have thrown some shade at young Dua who is now like, "well?" with her global hits while Ora is a judge on singing contests.
 
Don't Start Now still being stupidly big really seems to have hurt this. I'd say the best thing now is to probably move onto single no.3 in the next couple of months.
 
I am very much looking forward to the live Physical experience but I suppose they are holding the performances back until closer to the album release.

I hope you´re right. Being a bit LONG IN THE TOOTH now, I´m still used to songs peaking early on. If im proven wrong in this case then I will be delighted!
 
Jesus Physical really is everything you could want from a popstar package - the pop perfection of the melodies, those 80s synths, that incredible video (the colours! The dancing! Every single gorgeously created scene, it's a piece of art!) and of course Dua herself who looks beyond beautiful and has such confidence parading around as a pop girl near the top of the pile right now - all with that slight air of "whatever, I'LL decide if I can be arsed with this or not" :disco:

It's so refreshing to hear from a big artist in 2020. The best thing about it is it could so easily have sounded and looked like more of an 80s parody as opposed to the labour of love it clearly is. I still worry that because it sounds so 80s and out and out pop than we normally get from her that it might alienate a few people but well, fuck 'em. I hope she keeps serving this stuff forever more, alongside more disco deliciousness of course :disco:

I was in a really chavvy gay bar in BOURNEMOUTH the other day and when Physical came on it just lit the room up and was so good to singalong too as well. It's brilliant!

yeah, there's something too overtly sexual about it for me. it's just lazy. hair and make up are starting to get a bit reality star as well.

otherwise, yes, the campaign is fucking fantastic.
 
Love love love. Like an even more tongue in cheek Call On Me, which is a fine ode. There's about 10 tik tok moves in that video, so that should sell it to the kid.
 
She's just ridiculously good at the moment. Still Physical inches up just the one spot to 13 and I agree that a performance is called for very soon.
 
This song took a while to grow, but its amazing, and SHE is just killing it at the moment
 
If you're going "this sounds like it could be in Stranger Things" there just might be a reason for this.
 
Well, there's not that many options. Either it's going to be in Stranger Things or someone involved in it made the music for ST.

Streaming age is weird - making two videos for a song due to the extended lifespans involved is a bit of an unexpected development.

well maybe compared to most people she's fine, but she can't even kick her leg straight. she looks like one of those skinny people who actually have very little muscle.
