Florian T M Zeisig’s Enya-sampling ‘You Look So Serious’ was originally issued via Important’s Cassauna sublabel in 2018 on tape and reappears on this new double vinyl edition, including a whole second volume of additional material. Constructed out of 426 tape loops of Enya’s 1988 album 'Watermark' it’s an obvious companion to Romance’s Celine Dion sampling ‘Once Upon A Time’, hitting a similar intersection of blissed out smudge and genuine love for the source material.

I think I read about this before/listened to a bit, it's alright, and just found a recent Tweet about it :D

Is this like her Club Future Nostalgia/Dawn Of Chromatica?
Are you in the club library already?

There seems to be this released a week ago

Some good ones; I particularly love the synth for the instrumental China Roses (track 5) between 0:29-1:31 😌🎶

I kind of like that take on Bard Dance (track 3). It sounds less ringtone, but the 'tap' is funny (percussion from Enya was better.)

Triad not bad  the St Patrick version seems inspired by the beginning of this remix; for Cú Chulainn I kind of prefer this ☺️ a bit Christmassy perhaps; Oisín is good, but Enya's vocals added character in the original - this also has a mini bass drop. :disco:

I do find the vocals on tributes a bit off-putting though. 😅 Too many singers use some excessive reverb effect, and it's not even close to Enya's timbre.

1st track Epona - nice, just seems like a slightly extended version. Tea House Moon seems smoother than Enya's, but missing the character of the piece a bit.

They're nice, but more New-Age-y standard definition compared to quite unique high definition of Enya's work, overall. ☺️🎶
