To be honest I don’t think the Dutch ending will work for the general public. It’s too much of an emotional gear-shift from the pure silliness of the rest of the song. If you don’t know the story it’ll just be a bit bewildering.

Not to say they aren’t going to do well, but I don’t think that part necessarily adds anything to their chances
 
Yes, It could be a risk, but I’m glad they’re taking it.
 
And they only draw first half, second half, or daddy's choice anyway.

Anyone know what time we find out about the draw?

Or see 2nd rehearsal clips for that matter?
 
2nd rehearsal clips come out officially at the end of the day but most broadcasters have been uploading them before then so they should DRIBBLE THROUGH throughout the afternoon.

Surely in the interests of a fun running order they wouldn’t put us too close to Sweden’s opener?
 
Germany 1st half too.

I suppose it depends on how long it takes to put the prop on stage but I think we might be towards the end of the half.
 
How many “first half” cards are there - is it six?
 
Hoping none of the big guns draw first half so Olly can get a pimp double-figure slot.

I think so, 75% of acts will get either 2nd half or Daddy’s choice, so if really is a complete curse for the poor sods who end up with it.

I assume they’re in the bowl as well, don’t remember reading anything about Big 5 being exempt.

We were overdue. We were 2nd half the last 2 years.

Spain were overdue a 2nd half draw - they've drawn first the last 2 years in a row.

Think Germany might be a bet for 0 in the televote now.

Songs can and do perform well from the first half so I'm not ready to ring the death knell just yet - let's see where/inbetween whom he gets placed.
 
Will the producers have the balls to put a Christer’s choice entry in slot #2? I bet the entries that actually draw first half end up being front-loaded.

Yes I suppose with both the UK and Sweden going for a music video aesthetic, they'll probably keep them as far apart as possible.
 
Also think the whole "being able to vote straight after the song has been performed" is going to level the playing field a lot this year
