She was also clearly OVER IT by the end! Although I can’t imagine how much worse it could’ve been without a host of Petra’s calibre!

Martin wasn’t booed until the final, and after Joost’s disqualification, so I think saying he was booed because of Israel’s participation is a stretch at best.

Nothing happened in a vacuum and I think by the final the visceral anger in the arena was down to a build-up of all those things. Potentially a bit melodramatic in hindsight but it all contributed to a pretty shit atmosphere.
