Bit annoyed that I waited until today to see The Mitchells vs. The Machines. It would definitely have made my Top 3 of 2021.

I've been busy :D

08 Red Rocket – charmingly awful sleazebag of a character and a film. My Best Actor winner of 2021.

04 C'mon C'mon - this rubbed me the wrong way right from the get go and was toe curlingly excruciating by the end; it looks incredible though

09 Boiling Point - Stephen Graham is great in this one shot kitchen drama that really ramps up the tension

08 Antonio Gaudí - 80s Barcelona travelogue by a Japanese New Waver which is all show and no tell and made me want to get on the first plane out of here

08 The Alpinist - I love mountaineering docs, probably because I'll never get to do these things myself. This one is excellent

06 Console Wars - Middling account of Sega's trouncing of Nintendo in 90s USA before it all went horribly wrong

08 A-Ha The Movie - Gloomy account of the band's career with the cracks very much on show from their first success to now

09 Bergman Island - Another one that made me want to take the next plane out, this meanders for 45 minutes then starts to fit together like a beautifully twisted puzzle

10 Annette - I loved it but I can see why @Krust didn't like the end. I couldn't get enough of it however and wanted more more more
