I mean, it's nice for Germany to be back on the left hand side of the scoreboard, but the vast majority of that was still jury vote.

Not saying it wasnt a smart move after(what 3/4?) Bottom placings but I can see them sticking to steady and safe again year and ending back up at the bottom.

Yeah, honestly this went as I presumed it would in the last few weeks. Mid-table result thanks to a strong jury vote. To be fair, he does sing it well but the song is still awfully generic radio-fodder.
