yeah but where's the POLL?

From this little hitch
I have become a SUPER BITCH
:oi:

in hindsight, it's ridiculous, not a very bad song underneath, and a bizarre choice of a single for an ex-spice girl in a pre-woke late 90's era. A generous 7.5.

It was a bold & brave decision. No ex pop group member has ever made such a statement with their debut solo single. It was a HUGE departure from the bubble gum Spice Girls sound.

It is very underrated. Alanis, Garbage and Skunk Anansie would have killed to record such a great rock song.

I AM NOT A WHORE
I HAVE GONE HARDCORE

it was self-evident which lyrics were changed by MEL herself to make it BOLDER :mor: :D :disco:

I'll see your Mel C and Jade, and I'll raise you a Tin Tin Out feat. Emma Bunton

The very IDEA of Alanis doing a nursery rhyme like "Goin' Down". She would at least have rebranded it as "The Exquisite Movement That Evokes The Sensation Of Directional Descent Thank You Gravity"

FUCKING SHIT
This post provoked this thin skinned response

Don't lie. You are a giant bully. You are constantly trying to provoke me. Why did you put an angry emoji on my Reason thread?
Oh THAT was the reason? Well that explains your rational response.

Silly little snowflake.

It wasn’t a brave decision, it was a fucking stupid one. Releasing something with no TUNE is indeed a departure from the Spice Girls, but not the one she was intending.

Thankfully from the next single she managed to wise up (for a while).

Isn't that actual bullying @Moderator ?
Harassment rather than bullying I would say, but regardless, they've got a formal warning with warning points that leads to a sitewide ban if they get 10 or more (and they are at 9 now, so effectively, any further warning of any kind will lead to a ban)

It's silly, but I can't say I don't enjoy listening to it. I think it'd be less of a laughing stock if the lyrics and video weren't so try-hard. The production is pretty good.

I do love the utterly vicious French & Saunders parody. :D

"Do you think you look TOUGH? Well you don't look tough you just look SILLY!"

It's the bit where she goes into Madonna that always gets me :D

It just wasn't noisy enough. It should have had some proper squalling angry feedback and no synths. Formshould meet function; if you're that pissed off, we should feel it.

Dear me I don't think I've ever listened to that before. What a load of old ROT
