The spin off All Stars show will be filmed in South Africa and airs in 2023 so I assume we will get the usual version of the show in Australia in November.

Boy George is heavily rumoured to be taking part after receiving the highest fee ever of £1 million.

Pretty much confirmed as they have been papped arriving in Australia are Chris Moyles, Sue Cleaver and Olivia Atwood.

Surely Boy George will be TV GOLD, or maybe he has calmed down these days.

Gosh, viewers will be handcuffed to their radiators, I mean glued to their seats.

It is still MEGA POPULAR. I still love it, although I didn’t enjoy it near as much in Wales. Surprisingly Love Island is more popular on here than IACGMOOH.

After the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Wales, anything will be an improvement.

The last one struggled in the ratings, so hopefully this will do better.

I think people were fed up of Wales as it was a non event compared to Australia.

Did it have a major drop in ratings?

Looking at the figures for the second week for the last few years (just because the first week is skewed by the launch show)

2019 10.906m (#1 for the week, 0.206m more than Strictly at #2)
2020 11.808m (#1 for the week, 0.316m more than Strictly at #2)
2021 8.488m (#4 for the week, 2.346m behind Strictly at #1)

That is quite a drop in a year. I am pretty confident that is down to the fact it was in Wales though, but who knows?

Yes, I think there was definitely lower interest in the Welsh castle.

I'm curious to see if/how it recovers. Audiences are lower than they were a few years ago, so I think seeing how it compares to Strictly rather than the figure itself will be the interesting thing.

I've still followed it but the format has worn quite thin for me in recent years, even before Wales. However, if it is a lively series and the cast clicks (or rather they don't click) then I expect I will be won round.

I doubt that Boy George will do it. I'm sure he's said before that he'd never do that sort of thing in a million years. Send MARILYN instead. He'll do ANYTHING :disco:

I think this is the issue. Even before the Welsh series they all seemed to get on far too well. Boy George, Chris Moyles, and Olivia Atwood are all firecrackers and I can’t see these 3 being in there without a bit of FRICTION.

I don’t know why he would as he surely doesn’t need the £££ but I suppose a million for a couple of weeks work is probably hard to turn down.

That was my first thought regarding George. I doubt the £1m is true anyway, but if they want messy, there are plenty people who would go there for a lot less.

I'm sick of it and never bother. I was only really into it when there was someone in there who I actively like, which has rarely happened of late. Mind you, the novelty of seeing what people are really like has totally worn off, given that everyone is all too keen to relentlessly parade who they are (or who they want us to think they are) on the socials :zombie:

USUALLY the rags are spot on with the big names though so I would say it is very likely Boy George is going in. It’s like ITV release the details to whip up interest or something. :o

Surely Gillian McKeith wouldn't do it again? Although I'm here for more fake fainting fits. And she probably needs the money and is keen to show us all how much she's grown as a person :)

ALTHOUGH it has gone quite quiet on the Boy George front. Nothing since the beginning of October so GOD ONLY KNOWS.

He was on Twitter yesterday. I did think it strange that he might have gone quiet. There's normally no shutting him up :eyes::disco:

Actually I have some lurking memory that he agreed to do CBB back in the day but had to pull out for some reason (possibly prison-related) so maybe he's not as averse to these things as I thought

I recently seen a set up clip of (Dr) Gil and her daughter, pretending to spontaneously be shocked by dog poo on the street. She will be fantastic whether she tries to be self-aware about it all or not. Hideous woman. I will always remember her promising a larger lady who took great pride in her skin that she was getting a make-over, only to hand her a mirror to reveal the make-up artist had painstakingly painted on wrinkles and veins to suggest this was her fate unless she did the toilet in tupperware and bought some chick-peas.

I’m not sure if the papers would keep regurgitating the story, as no news on this since the beginning of October?

Yes, you are right! Did a judge not stop him going in as he was on bail for one offence or the other?

I wonder if he will go in late as they usually have 2 contestants that go in a bit later than everyone else.

Chris Moyles,
Boy George
Olivia Attwood
Owen Warner
Babatunde Aleshe
Charlene White
Sue Cleaver
Mike Tindall
Jill Scott
Scarlette Douglas
Seann Walsh.
