Did I start a thread on the All Stars version of this? I can’t find it so will stick it in here.

Janice Dickinson apparently has to pull out of this throughout the season as she falls and fractures her skull. She was most of the reason I was looking forward to this. :(

I'll be interested to see how this does. The line up isn't all that, and it feels a bit wrong to be on at this time of year.

So is this filmed in advance with no public votes then? Can't see that format working well for this show.
 
They have started showing the adverts and I think it looks quite a good line up, potential for a few personality clashes I think. But yes, if its filmed already I imagine they are voting eachother off, or through the trials?
 
Is anyone watching? I went in with an open mind without expecting too much but it has been the best opening show in YEARS. I am not sure if it is because it is a better cast than they have had in about 10 years but it actually feels quite FRESH.

I’m here Rita (obviously!) and I really loved the opening too. Hopefully Gillian will cause some tension, I feel optimistic there will be some DRAMA that the last few seasons have lacked.

I did enjoy how most of them didn’t know each other :D
 
I think I have enjoyed the first two episodes of this so much more than I have the whole of the last good few seasons.
 
I watched for the first time last night, I couldn't be bothered to catch up on the first episode but Janice is providing a lot of entertainment, she's also quite sweet, sometimes :D
 
Do ITV even make any money from voting now? Is it not all free on an app? If not I would say all seasons should be pre recorded as a whole with as much producer intervention as possible so we can have as much HIGH DRAMA as possible. :disco:
 
Quite enjoyed that, but they can really drag out the cliff hangers when its not filmed live :D
 
The first episode grated a bit with Paul Burrell and Helen Flanagan going through their tired greatest hits, but I enjoyed the second and third more. Loving Carol.

She gives things a good go but I find 'Toff' incredibly irritating and not sure the other two newcomers are going to add that much to things either.
 
Do we know when Janice falls and injures herself? She is reality tv GOLD.
 
I liked that episode - Fatima throwing a strop and quite a few of them smuggling things in - it seems like this is much more geared towards 'story lines' - who is choosing who does the trials?

I may be wrong, but I think I recall it being Ant and Dec in one of the first episodes.

I was going to tag but I don’t know your new names. I know my @FetchFugly and @Music are here for this but it seems such a wasted opportunity for the usual reality tv whores if they are missing out.

I do love the twist of them having to vote someone out, they better not pick Janice!
 
I can't remember much about her previous run but Fatima seems a little hard work. I'm quite relieved that Helen apparently got more brave in the intervening years.

Fatima has always been like that - the other's seem to know it and take it with a bit of patience and humour but I imagine it can wear thin, I think she's got a softer and sweeter side too which endears her also

Fatima was quite good with her there, and I was amused by Carol's pre-trial concern regarding her buoyant bottom.

"Who is Dean Gaffney in 2023?" asked no one apart from Dean Gaffney.
 
I have not watched this last week - I can't be bothered to catch up, who else has been eliminated since Gillian and Sean?
