So none of the stories that people were saying online just like it was none of the stories people were saying online when that woman went missing walking her dog last year…
 
The saddest part of this is that if they'd deployed the Labrador with the very sensitive nose at the start none of this would happened.
 
Channel 5 have The Jay Slater Mystery: Missing Or Murdered? scheduled for next Wednesday. Might need a rethink.
 
I’m glad this has been solved - it’s what the family needed and hopefully shuts up the conspiracy theories. I saw some weird one with some people on a beach screaming and accusations he was stabbed to death there the other day on TikTok. People are fucked up with what they will spread.
 
I agree, it's closure. I think the worst thing is when someone just goes missing and is never found. There's no peace from the not knowing.
 
Mm, true. Getting a body back to the UK can be a pesky business. Took us over a week to get my grandpa home after he died in Ibiza.

(and before anyone starts, no he didn't take a turn during a RAVE)
 
He's been found but the question remains how did he end up there. Did he have an accident whilst trying to get back or was he taken there pushed?

It's the perfect crime really. Murder a guy who's just announced he's desperately thirsty and about to walk ten miles in the blazing sun, and no one will suspect a thing. They're getting crafty.
 
Idiot women in my office: there's no way he's been there all that time, they'd have found him before now if he had been
Me: if he's fallen down a crevice and there's foliage and maybe overhanging rocks they might not have been able to see his body
Idiot women: somebody's murdered him then dumped his body there in the last few days because they know it's already been searched
Me: that's silly, the civil guard have been searching all the time, why dump him where his phone last pinged? Surely if he was murdered they'd have dumped his body away from that area, most likely is that he's just slipped and fallen down the rocks

Desperate for their idiotic conspiracy theory to be true they've lost all reason and one of them was almost shrieking at me as I calmly gave my common sense answers. She also believed Nicola Bulley had been abducted, murdered and then her body dumped in the river and she still believes it.
