Woman UP! :) :disco:

Natalie Imbruglia - Firebird
Come through timbre, breeziness and relistenability. Yaaass!!
Charlotte Perelli - Hero
Mais bien sur! Dance, pop, Eurovision. Everything!
ABBA - Super Trooper / Voyage / Arrival
Technically three albums but who can argue when it's ABBA!
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes
Thirtieth anniversary. Groundbreaking, feminist, introspective. Brava!
Simply Red - Remixed Vol. 1 (1985 - 2000)
Oh.

Fishbach - A ta merci
Kate Bush - Aerial
Kate Bush - The Sensual World
Kylie - Disco
Susanne Sundfør - Ten Love Songs

Me and Soldi both reaching for the Susaanne Sundfør of a cold January. :disco:

She (and icy Nordic electro-pop in general) is such a MOOD for this time of year, I've found.

Oh, I bought a stash on Friday so:

David Bowie - "Metrobolist" (the remixed "The Man Who Sold The World" with what is allegedly the original running order - not "necessary" but still an undersung set of songs)
Inspiral Carpets - "Dung 4" (named after its original catalogue number from the group's own "Cow" label - 15 demo tracks from 2 sessions in 1987)
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - "The Essential..." (one of those £6 triple CD comps which is heavy on less-common mixes, b-sides etc - in this instance, it's full on uncanny valley territory, 2 or 3 versions of each single, almost none of which sound the way you remember)
The Fall - "Reformation Post TLC" (the 4CD edition - not a favourite but FOMO got me in the end...tough going; too many versions of the same few songs)
aya - im hole (out-there 39 minute electronic manifesto; short on capitals and punctuation, long on experimentation, sly humour and originality)

I've seen that Frankie Goes to Hollywood triple CD on my insta feed, and must say I have been tempted!

It's a weird selection but for £6 you can't really knock it. The full, maximum-irritation 16 minute "sex mix" of Relax closes the proceedings which is...erm, a move.

There are whispers that this is a trailer for something bigger this year - the ZTT catalogue has changed hands again, Universal have it now.

Discs 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of "Henry Cow - Redux". 18 discs (one of them a DVD) with the complete works of these avant-garde heroes. Not an easy listen but rewarding.
