They seem to have ditched R’n’B and went back to full on pop bangers and this one sounds GOOD.

other than The Cure from the last album, their best song in quite a while. I see no expense was spared with the cover art.

I notice it's only 5 on New Music Friday UK. I'd be surprised if it's a huge hit, I think those days might be behind them now.

The TV show is due to start airing in April, presumably that will help them out.

It’s number 1 on iTunes UK. I would disagree, and think they still have potential for MASSIVE songs, it’s just the last album was a really bad misstep.

This is very good

glad they’ve went back to pop

Yeah they are still young enough and are not seen as lame so I think they can still have hits with the right tracks. The last album they pretty much gave up on anyway, and the lead singer was pretty massive.

This is brilliant.

I think Little Mix are fine tbh.
There’s a LOT of goodwill and affection towards them from the UK public, even more so since Jesy’s documentary.

As soon as they start releasing good SONGS again they will be hits. They haven’t released anything worth listening to since Woman Like Me (which in itself was a turd albeit a commercial one) and their chart positions reflect this.

I wonder if their TV show will go ahead? I don't know the format, but apparently they started filming it in January. I assume there is at least an element of studio shows to it. And the prize is joining them on tour in the summer, which is a tour there must be a good chance of not actually happening. Perhaps the show won't go out as planned at all.

This sounds like every gay-favourite internet electropop song that ever failed.

This feels like it should be the new Rita Ora song

Straight in at #9. Good to see another top ten for them. It’s slowly fallen down to around number 40 on spotify, hopefully it now stabilises a bit.

The TV showed which was due to start imminently has been postponed.

A top 10 seems like a decent result. Was the last time they made it in to the top 10 with Woman Like Me?

apparently they've had a top 10 every year for a decade now which is pretty extraordinary

I love it. This and The Weeknd have really hit the mark with the 80s inspired sounds (and Dua, obvi)

I can't think of ANY girl groups who've lasted this long without losing a member.
Especially surprising as they were kinda forced together. In terms of recording longevity have they been around longer than The Saturdays now? Just thinking aloud, I can google it.

I think Little Mix are intelligent enough to realise their value is much stronger together than alone.

As Little Mix they can fill arenas all around the country, even if the hits have somewhat dried up a little. I don’t see many people calling for a Perrie solo career - never mind Leigh Ann

I think the Sats were 2008 and must’ve stopped about 2015?

These girls were formed in 2011 wasn’t it? So have now surpassed I think?

This has grown on me, I thought it was bland and basic at first (and not in a good strong way like some of their other poppy leads) but Its grown on me and is probably exactly what they should be coming back with right about now

Quite fitting that Jesy has broken up with that Love Island guy and reports in the papers neighbours are complaining she's blasting this loudly whilst in isolation :disco:

In other news, have we seen QUEEN PERRIE's youtube Disney/musical videos?

I think Leigh-Anne was the biggest revelation of that performance. Who knew she had the range?

Her voice isn't generally as showy as Perrie or Jade's but she sounds fucking great on that. She is looking gorgeous as well.

Yes, I’ve always thought of Leigh-Anne as making you the numbers but what a stellar vocal from her.

This is growing on me, but they have not truly delivered for me since "Hair".

This is decent, but has not quite connected with me in the way their previous pop bangers have

Impromptu Little Mix Top 10:

1. Black Magic (even though they hate it, evidently)
2. Move
3. Pretend It's OK
4. Hair
5. Nothing Else Matters
6. Wings (Alias Radio Edit)
7. No More Sad Songs (solo)
8. Private Show
9. Only You
10. Power (solo)
