I ADORE Dream of Sleep.
I'm a sucker for a lullaby.

Yes, I was in a right old daze and didn't realise it was you until laterDid I see you at Before The Dawn? I think we glanced eyes on the way to/from the toilet. Did we mention this at the time?
Oh I think I was completely the sameYes, I was in a right old daze and didn't realise it was you until later![]()

Queen of getting hypothermia for her artADOS was so powerful at the Before The Dawn tour. Just a video of her floating, with her "little light" blinkering throughout. And her FACE. Noone does expression quite like her. And I'm sure the vocal was all done in one take and was more or less a live rendition.
She learnt from the BEST! (Safura)Queen of getting hypothermia for her art![]()
It's me...Under Ice is one of the most haunting songs. Oh God that realisation at the end of the song...
On side 2 you literally CANT skip tracks! How dare they!YouTube tried to skip songs in spite of saying that they were all there. I've switched to a different playlist which seems to actually have everything. I'm just going to pretend that I had to get up and turn over the LP.
The sharpness of the strings here is so evocative of that extreme cold.
Iguana fact: The Devil is in fact Kate, pitched down. She later said she wished she had an actor play the role.
Yes! I remember GASPING when that happened, and suddenly the visual similarities between the fish and the birds made sense... ugh her mind!I love how the 'Help this blackbird' line carried though Parts 2 and 3 of Before The Dawn
Iguana fact: This helicopter sound is lifted from Pink Floyd's The Wall. She said she couldn't find another sample
She does need to get rid of the bloody fish imagery on her recent releases thoughYes! I remember GASPING when that happened, and suddenly the visual similarities between the fish and the birds made sense... ugh her mind!
After ADOS and Under Ice, I though I knew what to expect from side two. I was not correct.
