Avant Que L'Ombre
Point de Suture
Bleu Noir
Monkey Me
Interstellaires

...most of which have been unavailable/ highly priced for years. Fnac apparently have in-store coloured variants exclusive to the shop, if anyone is going to the final round of Nevermore concerts next week, but they're all priced around 25 EUR apiece on Amazon for the standard variants.

I need to check my collection but the only vinyls I have of many of those (apart from Avant) are those ridiculous picture discs which remain unopened and unplayed

Don’t fall for these- it’s the picture discs again. Amazon have listed them wrong and with “new” release dates. I got Interstellaires through yesterday. I’ll be sending them all back with a complaint.

I think FNAC were doing exclusive coloured versions in store or something- I couldn’t quite find the details and so I presumed this was an extension of that reissue, what with the recent release dates etc. So annoying.

Although FNAC, having just taken a look, are also listing all those albums at about 25 EUR with edition listed as “standard”, release date September 2024:

I wonder if that’s the “proper” black vinyl versions? Maybe Amazon just fucked up on Interstellaires and the rest will be normal after all when they turn up?

Actually, I clicked on that link again from my laptop and there's a clear differentiation shown between "standard" and "picture disc" versions. So it must be right (see the boxes to the right).

I'm guessing Amazon just fucked up...

They must have just sent me the wrong Interstellaires by mistake.

Ok so my Monkey Me vinyl (I KNOW) test purchase from Fnac arrived and I, too, can confirm it’s proper black vinyl

So you have to hand it to Amazon.

So, I got a picture disc copy of Interstellaires. Complained, they sent a replacement. Which was another picture disc copy of Interstellaires. In the meantime, I've sent back the original, but it's got "refused", because blatantly Amazon.fr's returns is not set up properly for UK. So they've given me a refund for everything, returned the postage cost, and just said "keep the two copies for free". Which is exactly what happened when I got a (slightly) damaged copy of RemiXXL earlier in the year and they let me keep the damaged copy, which I sold for £50.

Off to Discogs I go...
