Name Change?

I'm fine with the name, although it does make me want to drink gin. And i don't even like gin.
 
I mean, you don't even need to win the vote, just have one, then you can change name anyway, so it has always felt odd to me. But an Act of Parliamoop hasn't been passed to change things.

As Zen says, you don't have to win the vote. This is just all about visibility so we all know who's who. A vote at least forces people to stop and think and remember.

I don't really mind what the process is for name changes but it'd be nice for us all to have a way to know who's who.
 
@GinAg (39) - call yourself whatever you like. I’ve not changed my name back after Eurovision either.

I think I'd rather just let people change to whatever they want, but perhaps do exactly as @Saltwater has and put and have their old username below for a few weeks so we all get used to it.
 
I really don't understand why I'm being forced to change it. There are posters with their Christmas names still. Can it not just be left?

You're not being forced to change it? This poll is literally the process for you to keep it, regardless of outcome

(Gay) Christmas Name changes are understood to be temporary, and are reverted back mainly for tagging purposes. But like I said, anyone who wants their change to be permanent just needs a thread to publicise that the change is permanent. I won't revert anyone back that has done so.

Also when did @Madíson get a camp "í" please?

Well I didn't read much of the above, my excuses being I was drunk in Chelmsford, which I think is perfectly acceptable.
