Oh I've loved this campaign and album.
I have no idea WHO is funding it as it sold fuck all, and his tour got cancelled - but it somehow comprised a short film, magazine, small cabaret performances to audiences of about 300 in Europe and USA, and about 10 billion vinyl variants each with different variations of special merch It's very much been a CAMPAIGN, even if few people were paying attention.

LOVE the album as a whole. Fruit is up there with some of the best of The XX melody-wise, and Hideous just DECIMATES ME every single time. When Jimmy starts singing as Oliver's guardian angel the tears cannot help but FALL!

A commercial flop, but such an important queer classic that may well hold up as a landmark album in future decades. The short film is WELL WORTH a watch too! Beautiful.
