This is really good. I never got into their second album but really liked the early (very The Cure-y) stuff.

Wow I really don’t like the new album. It all sounds very Avril Lavigne (which I appreciate isn’t a negative for some people on moopy). I prefer their new wave stuff.

I'm having my first listen now!

Nothing groundbreaking but their sound is so familiar and I really wouldn't mind if they churned the same old stuff out for 50 years. The quality just doesn't dwindle.

Initial favourites are Lies, Unwanted, Only Problem and Reasons to Live. A band like this I don't require deep cuts from. Obvious singles that would have dented the top 20 in 2003 will do just fiiine.

ETA: Act My Age is also great. I feel like I've heard this one. Was it released pre-album?
