Paris 2024 - Day 15 (Sat 10th August) (1 Viewer)

Will it be reallocated to the Romanian gymnast? It was horrible to see her celebrating, only to lose it as a result of the last-minute US inquiry.
Yes. If the US’s inquiry has literally been last-minute, they would have kept the medal. They were too late.

It looks like the high jumpers might be up to shenanigans again. How do they still not have a tiebreaker?

I don’t mind a tie if they both fail three times at the same height. If they just decide to share the event without even trying, they should both get silver.

It’s ridiculous. They are failing to find the best jumper in the world - for the second games in a row.

Actually, it seems like they do have tie breaker rules, they can just choose to both have golds. I say again that the rule should be two silvers if you choose to share it.

Did Kerr suggest to McEwen that they share the gold, only for McEwen to be all "fuck that"? :D

So the rules are now that the whole card doesn't matter, only back one height... which surely means they will get this situation happening much more often. Seems quite unfair too.

They're failing heights which they cleared earlier in the competition. They should have just shared the medal or gone with the previous countback rule.

It’s the Olympics, not Lord Coe’s Best Friend Race. We need a winner.

We made Isner and Mahut play until one of them died, and that was just tennis.

60th medal there.

61 in the Taekwondo, possible 62 if lady Taekwondo wins bronze and 63 if the dancing swimming ladies stay top.
