I have obviously been on Discovery+ all the way through. A lot of the BBC’s coverage choices have not been good.
 
The coverage is terrible. They had Andy Murray on both streams at one point and the chopping and changing is awful.

Thank god I don’t have to watch the athletics live.
 
A few of these mountain bikes only have a single front fork. Just looks wrong.

So much of the coverage is inane also. I know that probably appeals to many but it really grates on me (because I’m an old git).
 
That must have taken a pretty massive effort. Question is how much has he got left.

Pidcock isn't a sprinter. He needs a gap.

It's the age old problem with athletics coverage. Let's spend ages in- studio with inane chatter whilst we could be watching live action. I realise there needs to be some, but the swimming coverage of Peaty last night was fucking appalling- not least with everyone CRYING for no apparent reason.

I don't know a lot about this but yes, I was worried about how much that had all taken out of him...

The nadir is the constant PISS DRIBBLE from Claire Balding. Absolutely no insight into any of the sports other than rehashing what the talking heads opposite her have just said.
 
Just to say, the atmosphere at everything I've seen has been electric. Brava to the French!
