Still her best album IMO, reeks of 2001-2 era pop but in a good way. I couldn't get over how mature I thought it was at the time, it really stood out majorly amongst the young female pop of 2001.

Get the Party Started
18 Wheeler
Missundaztood
Dear Diary
Eventually
Numb
Just Like a Pill
Family Portrait
Misery
Respect
Don't Let Me Get Me
Gone to California
Lonely Girl
My Vietnam

It's dated a fair bit in places, but a solid album. It was kind of her version of Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad album. You'd never have predicted from her first run of hits that she'd be any more than a flash in the pan.

08 Get the Party Started
10 18 Wheeler
09 Missundaztood
08 Dear Diary
07 Eventually
07 Numb
10 Just Like a Pill
07 Family Portrait (Technically great, but I always associate it with miserable lesbians)
05 Misery
08 Respect
09 Don't Let Me Get Me
09 Gone to California
11 Lonely Girl
08 My Vietnam (Lovely tune, dodgy lyrics)

I think X-Tina's Stripped stole a bit of its thunder, and I feel people remember that more nowadays as an album than they do with Missundaztood.

It's alright.

Hmm.. I was harsh

Can I change my mark to at least 5?

Family Portrait and Just Like A Pill are great, but the one where she fights a war against the mirror and is uglier than Britney Spears makes Menly C's "If That Were Me" look like Bob Dylan

And Get The Party Started is shit - I always think it's "I'm coming OUT"

Stupid dyke. "Who Knew" is better than any of this, but she's such a fake corporate whore. The voice is wasted on her when she doesn't have the songs (although not as bad as Aguilera)

Six or seven good to great songs, six or seven which are decent but often fillerish. Each of the three albums which followed have been an improvement.

A few duds, but the majority of it is great. Definitely an album of it's era though. It's probably more of an eight than a nine actually now...

Really like it. The singles from it were spectacular and all 10/10 moments for me.

I know there's a few years difference between them, but I'd pick 'I'm Not Dead' over this in a heartbeat as my favourite Pink album. That comes more down to the singles - I could do without ever hearing 'Get The Party Started', 'Don't Let Me Get Me' and 'Family Portrait' again which really makes listening to the album a struggle.

But I agree with what I did for her, at the time it really couldn't have gone any better in establishing her as a genuine chart star.

As has been said, this is definitely an album of its era. Came at the right time for me though. I remember pretty much EVERYONE in my social circle owning this album in 2002. This and Avril's "Let Go" were guaranteed to be on at every house party. My version has a different running order (I bought it before its official UK release in 2001), but I'll stick to this order for the rate.

I bought this album. The singles were so damn good. I don't recall any other track.

I can only remember the singles, 18 Wheeler and the title track, all of which are good. But cannot remember the rest at all.

I always thought they mined this for like 5 or 6 singles but it seems only four :o

I’m playing this now for what must be the first time in at least 15 years. I bought it and would have assumed I knew it well but much of it isn’t sounding too familiar. Don’t Let Me Get Me and Just Like A Pill always bugged me because they are both completely ripping something else off and I’ve never been able to put my finger on what.

Just Like A Pill and Don't Let Me Get Me are two of her very best!! I don't listen to them much nowadays but when I do they still really deliver :disco:
