I'd pay tribute and sing "We shall overcome".
In 1992 an at the time unidentified serial killer, referred to as The Laser Man, was on the loose shooting immigrants with a laser rifle. At a tumultuous press conference, a crowd predominantly composed of immigrants, demanded the government do more to catch the killer. As a gesture of solidarity the Swedish Minister of Immigration and Culture attempted to get the attendees to do a "We Shall Overcome" sing-along. She aimed to instill its message of hope, equality, justice, and tranquility in the distressed crowd.
Naturally it failed miserably.
