"There for Me" is a leftover track from the Rainbow sessions, written by Carey alongside David Foster and Diane Warren in early 1999 (reports about their collaboration first surfaced in April 1999). After Carey abandoned work with longtime collaborator Walter Afanasieff, she began working with Foster throughout Rainbow.

I've always loved this album, as it's got some of my all time favourites on it. Rainbow's End is a fine addition to the set.

There For Me drifted by on first listen though, so I don't think I'll be revisiting it any time soon.

I'm going to give the Dolby Atmos version a try next. Weirdly it's the original album version that's in that format, the Anniversary Edition is Lossless only.
