she's back! after scoring one of the best r&b tracks of 2018 (remember sticky how could you forget!), she's teamed up with the internet's steve lacy for some sweet sweet sounds:



there's a touch of minnie ripperton in there, no? so good!

I didn't know she had her own thread!

Hypnos IS AMAZING. "Skin Tight" is the jewel in the crown I think, but Inside Out, Where I'm From, Satellites, Lullabye, and Mercury are all 10/10.

Her sound is very Minnie Ripperton, with a bit of Mariah and Janet too.

I don't know anything about her at all but cherry picking now! LOVING Venom, Skin Tight, Where I'm From, M.I.A...

I'm not getting Amber Mark per se (Ravyn feels more early 00s revival), but I'll definitely be spending some proper time with this record. thanks hun!

songs like Xtasy and Light Me Up both land somewhere between Damita Jo era Janet, VanJess, and some of what Doja has been doing recently. I'm really INTO IT!

this album has very rapidly become a dangerous obsession. the flirty girl at the beach, kimono in the breeze vibes... it's commanding me to quit my job.

Where I'm From and Mercury are all kinds of delicious. in fact it's ALL ECSTASY (/xtasy).
