Red ligers best

It's cold, rainy and sunless here today. Not so much wind but it's still rotten out there.

How do you think birds conceive wind? Do they just accept the fact there’s some invisible force throwing them around, or do they think they’re being touched by a vengeful God?

I think Bristol has escaped the worst of it. There are about 1500 houses without power apparently - I'm assuming in the north of the city nearer the channel, because the surrounding areas seem to have been hit harder, and the headlines last night were all focusing on the channel. I think South Wales may have had it worse as well.

Mr L has been out for a little wander this morning. Apparently some trees are down in the wood behind our house, and have ruined fences and sheds of houses that back directly on to the wood.

Not worth the RED WARNING then?

Looking at this, perhaps it tracked a little further north than expected, and Wales bore the brunt of it?

It was howling here last night, the building felt like it was resonating but I was in a bit of a hole, its deffos not nearly as windy today.

It’s getting worse here. Think I’ll avoid the M1 and those PESKY LORRIES on the way to work.

it's rain showers between sun here, the storm seems to have passed. but it's hard to know what is a storm and what's just typical Amsterdam high winds. feeling Saturday smug because I woke early for pilates and now I've motivated myself for a cute afternoon gym sesh :disco:

I had a terrible nightmare, basically Windows95man was chosen to represent my country at the Eurovision Song Contest this year.

Mulled wine at the ready, snow spray purchased. Although not reluctant I'm not super excited to put the decorations up.

Do you line your windows with cling film for easy snow spray removal?

I just don't understand how anything involving wrestling with cling film is meant to be easy.
