So I very much believe for a lot of people, it's nothing to do with how they were born / brought up etc. It's just who they meet and fall in love with.

I think this is probably right, provided they are willing to roll with it.

Definitely. I admit it was hard for me to roll with at first, but now I couldn't care less and it just seems the norm to my friends and I now.

It's foolish to believe it's completely one or the other. We're all products of both, and the two are so intertwined that it's simply incorrect to turn them into a binary.

Also ultimately it never really matters.

Sexuality is a very primal mechanism and there's a kinda beauty in knowing that your body knows what it wants without your permission.
