I’m glad that Mai won but it is quite annoying that both the final 3 and final 2 challenges were almost entirely luck based with the tiniest bit of strategy. When Mai said something about them being ‘the best 3 players’ I thought… really? A lot of this game is luck.

But she was the best winner we could have hoped for really in a show where it’s quite hard to get to know too many of the players very well.

only really because the editing barely showed the other 2 until about episode 8 so we didn't really get to know them

. But I really think they could come up with something a bit better for a final. It could still involve some element of luck, but not something that is 99% luck (then we hear voiceovers of them talking about their 'strategy'.

So disappointed with the final episode. Not the winner, I didn't care which one of them won, but the fact there was no skill involved. Why did we have to wait a week to see 15 minutes of action (at best) dragged out into a 45 minute episode.

It was easily the least exciting episode of the series.

Plus that button pushing task was devoid of tension as I’m sure the producers could have turned any of the buttons a specific colour at will.

I understand they couldn't have based all the games on athleticness and strength but it really had to come down to luck and random chances with keys?

They did have independent adjudicators so I think they did play it fair.
