Album out 2020, the proper first single People had a bit of a nu-metal sound (I found it shit), and today the second single dropped which is a very lovely foray into UK garage.

My interest in them wavers as they only have a handful of great songs, but the ones I love I love.

new one is by far the best thing from this project so far

it's just gorgeous

They are in Glasgow next weekend. I’m quite partial to a bit of them but I really don’t know if I can deal with thousands of screaming teenage girls, which i assume is there main demographic (other than rubbish gais, like me).

The new album is "out there" now. The Popjustice PC brigade has gone into meltdown because of a lyric in one of the songs in which Matt says he was called "a fag".

I really fail to see the issue with an artist writing about being abused. Surely context is everything? Do we just pretend that slurs don't exist?

Are these people made of sugar? Fuck me.

I always wonder if people like this are actually offended, or just saying what they think they should be saying.

I definitely think it’s the latter sadly. They just pile on anything without considering the context at all. It’s quite disturbing actually.

It really isn't a big deal. Jesus. Kim, there's people that are dying!

Despite the length this album is kind of great - lots of really strong songs, it's their best effort for me.

There's a dancier current running through it which works so well. Nothing Revealed/Everything Denied, Something You Should Know and particularly What Should I Say are so good. Having No Head is an awesome instrumental, George (the one who does the most production) should produce for the pop girls.

Jesus Christ 2005... has to be their worst song ever.

I know it's supposed to be a satire but still, I don't enjoy it.

oh I love it, and Phoebe's verse is incredible lyrically.

Nice when she comes round to call
I masturbate the second she's not there

Haven't we ALL had THAT FRIEND?
