The Blumhouse sequels start here, a second one titled Deceiver (get it?) has already been announced

Saw the trailer before Oppenheimer, it looked shit (the trailer obvs)

I’m pumped. I can’t help it. Blumhouse is onto a winner with these for me. Roll out the star of the original as an old lady and I’m in!

It’s the same team that did the Halloween sequels that I hated so I’m not optimistic. But Ann Dowd is always a draw for me.

It apparently tested very badly at test screeners. Apparently it’s “too long and not scary”. So are A24 movies so we’ll SEE!

Ellen Burstyn seems to be phoning it in in that trailer. Can't blame her. At least she got some serious dollar for agreeing to return and has funded a scholarship program for young actors with the money :disco:

39/100 on metacritic :disco:

Yeah ok this was quite crap.

I can’t get over what they do to Chris McNeil :D

Though I did cry at the very end :D

This took forever to get going and once it did it was underwhelming. Ellen looks great for 90! The end was quite moving. :shy:
