The Property Porn Thread

I only went to Abbey Wood once to pick up something and the moment I got off the train station I witnessed a PROPER PUNCH-UP between two drunks, one of them was punched so hard I saw A TOOTH FLYING OUT :zombie: A memory to CHERISH.

A flat in Rotherhithe came up today that I want. MULTIPLE balconies but none so gracious as the Mile End one. @Zu 2 to confirm whether there are woman-eating dogs down there please

I find all the new developments around Surrey Quays and Rotherhite RATHER SOULLESS. The bit beyond the farm and the park is a bit nicer because of river views etc but FUCK ME it is far* from any remote public transport connection.

*20 minute walk which let's face it it's UNACCEPTABLE for London standards

I can't comment on Rotherhithe as I've never lived there (much like I've never lived in Mile End :tongueout:) although the atmosphere of that part of London reminds of Berlin in a way that I can't quite explain. However, I can confirm that my walk through the tunnel was one of the most ridiculously exciting things I've done in recent years so I recommend it on that basis alone :disco:

Surrey Quays shopping centre is utterly vile but there's always the buzz of the Gala Bingo :disco:

Just an immaculately presented apartment in a charming Art Deco building in London's fashionable Islington, with high ceilings, modern kitchen and bathroom, patio terrace and oh also UNDERGROUND BUNKER.

Yes I was thinking what a shame they've just spent all that time painting it white when it's clearly going to end up looking like this

I still don't trust those ones with mounted electric heaters on the walls. For that price I'd want some proper central heating.

Oh wow I want this so badly

Could we club together and buy a MOOPY HOUSE?

It would be terrible, but at least we'd know.
