I was really excited when Director's Cut was announced. Then they announced one of my least favourite Kate songs would be the lead single (Deeper Understanding) and I was like

Me too. It's a big improvement and the whole bit at the end is great!

I think Snowflake was an APOLOGY for this. She said in an interview that Bertie has a beautiful voice, so what did she do, added loads of effects and butchered it (slightly paraphrasing)

There's a lot more space in this version too. The Sensual World is quite a dense album in places. I enjoy being able to pick out what's going on (even if I'd edit the jazzy middle bit).
