The Traitors - Episode 12: The Final (1 Viewer)

I feel horrible for Kieran with him knowing Wilf is working the room against him.

Hannah just wants to finish her sentence and the one you didn't get to finish.

Truly hope Wilf gets nothing. I mean I would still go there obviously.

Bless Meryl trusting trust. I wonder if she enjoys the album track Trust A Try by Janet.

Now I think I want Wilf to win as it's just so horrible. Serves them right for bonding over ostracizing Keiran all smiling at each other when he walked away.

Maddy is going to be shitting herself when she sees Wif out-acting her Casualty bit part of a woman without a womb (IMDB lists the episode as being called rather tastelessly "Womb Raider").

How can you not adore Meryl's fireplace chit chat with Claudia?

I was expecting Aaron to have chosen to take a piss on the fire with that dramatic pause and camera shots.

Turning it around to imply that he has chosen them as the winners.

Well that was cosier than expected. Time for the Australian one then..

Oh thank God, what a rewarding ending to a great show.

The thickos were unbearable and by the end I was looking forward to see their reaction when they realise how stupid they have been. I never thought we’d get an even better ending.

To see Wilf crash and burn, it was just glorious.
What an absolutely despicable person, I disliked him from the start, not because he turned on his fellow traitors, because that’s part of the game, but for all the insincere shit he’s tried to pull throughout the show, trying to justify the killings and acting as if he felt bad about it.

Will spoiler this for those who hasn’t seen the Australian one yet:

I think that Keiran’s mistake was
to not immediately trying to get the others to banish Wilf. This is exactly the same mistake Kate did when she was recruited in the end. Becoming a traitor this late in the game, they were both uncomfortable in the new role they got, they both knew they were chosen as a shield to protect the last remaining traitor and that said traitor has already got rid of the other traitors, but they hesitated to do so until the end. Keiran should’ve done it while Maddy was still there, they could have convinced Aaron and then MAYBE Meryl. Kate should’ve done it while Teresa was still there and already trusted her… I do hope the traitors continue to turn against each other in future because as it seems now it’s the only way for the Faithfuls to actually have any chance of winning, and also because it makes great tv.

I read during the intro and some of the challenges. Otherwise I press pause and read sometimes.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this show, however a minute into the first episode they showed a preview of upcoming scenes (Which is why i try to avoid that segment when a new season of The Apprentice starts) that totally fucking spoiled it for me! Did anyone else pick up on that? Nobody i watched it with did.

Wilf standing up all panicked saying "I'm not a traitor, i swear on everything" .. that really stuck with me .. especially since he was revealed to be a traitor later in the same episode, as each epsiode passed and that scene didn't appear (i was expecting it to be from the Alyssa vs Wilf episode) i kinda knew he was the one who would make it to the end and have his cover blown. So pissing annoying they'd show an importanT scene from literaly the last 20 minutes of the finale like that.

Oh well, lesson learned, will be skipping that segment in Season 2.

I have a very vivid memory of an early montage having a shot of a traitor in their robes and clearly having the hands of a darker skinned person, so I spent a while assuming Fay or Amos would be recruited at some point. Presumably it was just something filmed with random people in the robes to throw viewers off the scent :o

I never noticed that but you're right, a minute in to the first epsiode, complete with red nail varnish 💅

That Wilf clip is still being used in iPlayer ads for it.

Spent today finishing this. SO glad Wilf didn’t win, but wasn’t impressed that the three thickest morons there did either. :D
It is a bit of a problem with the format though isn't it? Any of the faithful who is clued up enough to see what is going on, or even appear that they may is very likely to be murdered, and thick ones who are useful to traitors will likely be carried right until the end.

OMG SO GOOD I"M DYING
But yes we all know the rightful three winnahhhhsss should've been Amanda Alyssa and ANDREA as the Traitors COMBO

I want the same ones back for series 2 to be honest
Make them PERMANENT
