UK General Election 2024 - Results Day (1 Viewer)

It is a HUGE RELIEF.

Blair was a showman, Starmer is a details man. He was always meant to be a relief rather than a champion.
Exactly.
I always say this people who tell me Starmer is 'boring'.
Sorry but would you rather have a 'boring' but excellent surgeon or a charming but incompetent one to operate on your body?

I see up skirting fan Christopher Chode has won with a big majority. What the fuck is wrong with Christchurch?!

Have we had Neil Kinnock, seen here as the late Richard Attenborough in Miracle on 34th Street, discussing George Galloway? Just great fun to see a usually civil person let rip on someone they've hated for 40 years

Reform were 2 million votes below their target.

Reform have only managed to bag a quarter of a million votes more than UKIP did in 2015, and only a 2% higher vote share…

And yet despite them accomplishing nothing but conning a couple of seats from the lowest possible hanging fruit last night, the news won’t stop fucking banging on about them. The far right have made zero gains in a decade, their lacklustre performance yesterday should not be seen as any kind of triumph.

Does anyone have a video of Johnny Mercer losing? I want to see his face as he lost.

Well it was mostly good news when I woke up today. Reform worse and Green better than the exit poll (including my mum & brother’s constituency), Mogg & Truss gone.

Watched Jezza’s speech on YouTube  😍

What is Farage saying? I can’t bring myself to listen to him!

I trust the BBC will also be showing a speech from the Green Party leaders :eyes:
Conspiracies about vote count mistakes and then using "physical humour" to mock Starmer reading a speech. It was weird and see through.

Mopsy I cannot believe I missed Truss's downfall. That'll teach me to go to bed at 5am! What a WIMP

Oh and I see the Tories ended up getting LESS than the Exit Poll :D what was the BBC thinking with 160 seats!
